The campaign mode consists of 5 planes, and a 6th plane in which you will face your ultimate test. Within each plane you will have to overcome 3 encounters in which you have to overcome a specific situation or type of opponent, followed by a legitimate duel with an opponent, sometimes with a deck to unlock.
After defeating all 3 encounters and the opponent on any of the first five planes, you have the opportunity to choose from one of five Planeswalkers to challenge. If you win, you will unlock their deck for campaign and online play.
